Abstract

PURPOSE:To form joined parts of outstanding high-temp. strength and high-temp. corrosion resistance in the stage of joining heat resistant Ni alloy members to each other by joining the joining parts by means of liquid Al fillers and diffusing Al into the Ni alloy. CONSTITUTION:High-temp. gas turbine blade members 1A, 1B which are precision cast of Ni alloy of superior heat resistance are joined at the fayed surfaces interposed with insert filler metals 2. Here, sheets or powder of Al is used as the metals 2, and while both members 1A, 1B are pressed in a vacuum hot press, they are heated at 700-1,100 deg.C. The metals 2 melt and diffuse into the joined parts of the members 1A, 1B, and form the structure reinforced by Ni3Al-gamma' phase, whereby the joined parts of outstanding high-temp. strength and high- temp. corrosion resistance are formed.
