Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily assemble a magnetic head core without damaging it by heat, by making a seaming member for laminating adhere onto an Fe-Al-Si compound magnetic head core chip, and >=1 places, or the whole surface of a nonmagnetic material to be combined with the core chip. CONSTITUTION:For instance, on each ship-shaped Fe-Al-Si compound magnetic core material 6 and a nonmagnetic material 8, a notched part 7 for embedding a seaming member 5 for lamination is provided. As for the seaming member 5, a low melting point metal, a brazing alloy or glass, etc. whose melting temperature is >=100 deg.C are used, are placed on the notched part 7, are heated and are melt-stuck, and after that, the surplus member 5 is removed by means of grinding, etc. Subsequently, said material is cut to the thickness of a prescribed core, a magnetic core chip 4 and a nonmagnetic material core chip 8 are laminated, and are seamed by heating and melting only a part 9 of the member 5 by a laser beam, etc. It is also possible to make the seaming member 5 adhere onto the whole surface of the core material 4 and to seam them by irradiating a laser beam, instead of providing the notched part. In this way, the Fe-Al-Si core 4 is seamed with the nonmagnetic core 8 such as ceramics, without damaging it by heating.
