CONSTITUTION:Paste-formed active substance is coated on a core, and the surface of coating layer is further coated with a paste-formed active substance, to which sponge-formed metal cadmium powder is added. Because charging reaction near the surface of electrode plate propagates via the sponge-formed metal cadmium powder, metal cadmium is easily produced near the surface of electrode plate. The oxygen gas is quickly absorbed near the surface of electrode plate, and the oxygen gas absorbing capacity is enhanced to a great extent.
