Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the using right of a cross-cell interface between adaptors just with use of two request lines by providing an own-system request generating means and an other-system request generating means to each of exclusive control circuits of device control adaptors of different priority orders. CONSTITUTION:The device control adaptors ADP11A and 11B are provided to the common devices 12A and 12B respectively. Then the unidirectional request lines 14A And 14B are set between both ADPs. Then the ADP11A of a higher priority order sends a request of its own system to the line 14A when no request is received from other systems and at the same time cuts off the request given from the line 14B. Then the ADP11B of a lower priority order sends a request of its own system to the request line when no request is received from other systems. When a request is received from another system, the request of its own system is stopped. Thus the ADP11A obtain the using right of a cross-call interface at the time of a device conflict. In such a way, the exclusive control of the ADP is possible with use of two request lines only.
