Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer the function to the other controller in the event of a fault of one controller, by mutually connecting each transmission line for coupling each controller and signal input/output devices through an isolator. CONSTITUTION:A controller 10 and a controller 20 execute transmission to each signal input/output device 13, 14 by use of a transmission line 11 and a transmission line 21, respectively. For instance, in case when the controller 10 is faulty, the controller 20 detects its fault, and executes not only its own function but also a function of a controller 10. Also, the controller 20 transmits an instruction signal to the devices 13, 14 through an isolator 6 installed between transmission lines 12, 22, and the transmission line 12. In this way, operations of the devices 13, 14 are continued automatically.
