Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute an efficient operation of a transmission line, by communicating with a device which becomes other slave station in accordance with status of a fault in case of communication between a master station and a slave station, when transmitting a data between plural digital control devices which are able to become a master station, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A digital control device has a function for controlling a process in accordance with a prescribed control algorithm, and as for these control devices, the master station is changed at a prescribed time or depending on existence of information to be transmitted to other station, in accordance with a prescribed sequence. In case when a control device 3-1 is a master station and is unable to transmit a data even if it communicates with a control device 3-2, the device 3-1 communicates with other station 3-3 and discriminates a fault. In case when it is able to communicate with the station 3-3 in the same data transmission mode, the fault is considered to have been caused by the station 3-2, it transmits a data including a fact that the device 3-2 is faulty, to station which becomes a master station next. In case when a device which has become a master station is faulty, since a fault can be displayed by its station itself, it can be discriminated easily. Also, after a constant time has elapsed, in case said device does not become a master station, it is discriminated as a fault, and an apparatus control of the whole control system becomes easy.
