トリクス型表示装置において、走査電極数に対応
した段数のシフトレジスタと、このシフトレジス
タに対して介挿接続されるダミー用フリツプフロ
ツプと、このダミー用フリツプフロツプをモード
切換信号に応じて上記シフトレジスタに有効ある
いは無効の状態に切換え接続する手段と、上記シ
フトレジスタに入力されるタイミング信号をシフ
トクロツクによりシフトして走査電極駆動信号を
順次発生する手段とを具備し、画像データの有効
走査線数が上記走査電極数より多い場合に上記ダ
ミー用フリツプフロツプを上記シフトレジスタに
介挿接続して上記有効走査線数を間引いて表示す
