Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the forming of a superconducting circuit capable of opera tion at a temperature of liquid nitrogen, by constituting a state getting out of the condition necessary to exhibit superconductivity, except a part necessary for an oxide superconducting thin film. CONSTITUTION:In a superconducting circuit device applying an oxide superconducting thin film to an electrode or a wiring, the film part except the superconducting electrode or wiring is added with other element than the constitution elements to exhibit superconductivity. Otherwise, the constitution elements are added or depleted so as to get out of the necessary constitution, and made to possess the property of semiconductor or insulator. For example, in the manufacture of a quantum interferometer, a Ba-Y-Cu oxide thin film 6 is formed on an MgO single crystal substrate 5. By heattreating, this is turned into perovskite system crystal. By using a resist pattern, a lift-off pattern corre sponding to a part 6 corresponding with a superconducting wiring of the quan tum interferometer is formed. The resist film is eliminated, and a desired pattern 7 is obtained. By heat treatment, the pattern 7 is turned into a thin film insula tor containing Bi.
