Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野コ 本発明は、日本酒のお烟等を行う加Ill能付きの紙管
容器本体の上端部にプラスチックリングをrlJ@する
超音波溶着装置に関する。
[従来の技術] 日本酒のお烟機能付き紙管容器は知られている。
この紙管容器は、螺旋状に巻かれた複数の厚紙層で形成
された円筒状の本体で形成されている。
この円筒状本体内には、加温手段として生石灰と、この
生石灰と混合上ないように別個の容器に内封された水と
を収容した金属缶が挿入されている。
この金属缶は上記紙管の下端より内部に挿入され、金属
製の底蓋と共に紙管容器の下に巻き締められて固着され
る。そして、この紙管容器の上部は、いわゆるプルトッ
プ式の飲み口を形成する金i製の蓋を下部と同様に巻き
締めて密封されている。
内部の飲み物を暖める場合には、金属缶内の水と生石灰
とを混合する。
この従来の紙管容器によれば、下端部と同様に上端部も
金属蓋で巻き締めにより密閉されているため、飲物を注
入した後に^湯高圧下で殺菌し、この後に減圧する場合
、紙管容器が変形し易く、内容物が漏8Iする場合があ
る。
このため、本出願人は第4図乃至第6図に示す紙管容器
を開発した。
すなわち、この紙管容器10は内装フィルムを貼付した
容器本体1内に金属缶3を配設し、この金属缶3内に加
温手段として生石灰4と水容器5とを収容する。この生
石灰4と水容器5はl1lii用段ボール6を介して金
属製の底蓋7により金属缶3内に封入されており、この
金属缶3と底17は容器本体1の下端に巻き締めにより
固着されている。この金属製の底蓋7には水と生石灰が
反応したときの水蒸気等を逃がす空気抜き用の孔7aが
設けられており、この孔7aは適宜のフィルム8で底側
から閉鎖されている。更に、容器本体1の下端には保護
キャップ9が嵌合されており、この保護キャップに水容
器5を穿孔するビンが挿通孔9aが設けられている。こ
の穿孔用のビンは通常は保護キャップに装着しておくこ
とができる。
そして、容器本体1の上端はプラスチック製のリング2
を介して可撓性の薄膜材で密封する。すなわち、リング
2を容器本体1の上部テーバ部で内装フィルム1aに超
音波溶着し、このリング2の上面に可撓性薄膜材を貼付
して上蓋を形成するものである。
これにより、内部の酒を高温高圧下で殺菌した後、冷却
する前に上蓋を密閉しても、可撓性rIs膜材で形成し
た上蓋が下方に撓むだけで容器本体の変形が防止されて
漏洩が防止される。また危険な金属の切り口が形成され
ずに安全である。
しかし、容器本体1の上端のテーバ状の装着部にプラス
チックリング2を溶着する際、超音波溶着装置のホーン
がプラスチックリング2の内面に当接してこのリング2
を超高速振動させるため、連続的に多数の紙管容器本体
1にプラスチックリング2を次々と溶着すると、このホ
ーンにリング2の熱が蓄積される。このため、プラスチ
ックリング2がホーンに付着し易くなり、容器本体1に
対して正しい位置に正確に溶着するのが困難となる。そ
して、このプラスチックリングが傾斜したり、あるいは
、正確な位置に取付けられないときは紙管容器の見栄え
が不格好となり、また、プラスチックリングが波状とな
り、あるいは、割れを生じることがある。このため、正
確かつ効率よくプラスチックリングを溶着することので
きる装置の開発が望まれていた。
本発明は上記問題点に鑑みてなされたなされたもので、
高温高圧下における殺菌の後、上蓋を密閉して常温まで
冷却しても紙管本体が変形することのない紙管容器を正
確かつ効率よく製造できる超音波WJ着装置を提供する
ことを目的とする。
r問題点を解決するための手段] 本発明による超音波溶着装置は、管容器本体の上部に溶
着されるプラスチックリングに当接するホーンと、この
ホーンの周部に前記プラスチックリングとの当接部から
所定の間隔を介在させて環状に配設した冷却空気パイプ
と、この空気パイプのホーンに面する側に穿たれた複数
の空気噴出孔とを備え、前記プラスチックリングに当接
するホーンの部分を一定温度に保持させたことを特徴と
する。
[作用] この超音波wJ@装置によると、プラスチックリングに
当接してこのリングを超高速で撮動させるホーンは、こ
の周部に配設された冷却空気パイプの空気噴出孔を介し
て冷却空気を噴き付1プられ、一定の温度に保持される
。したがって、連続的にプラスチックリングをwJ@す
る場合にも、摩擦熱がホーンに蓄積されない。
以下添付図面を参照して本発明の実施例を詳細に説明す
る。
[実施例] 第1図は本発明の実施例による溶着装置を設けた紙管容
器製造装置の全体の配置状態を示す。
この紙管製造装!20は基台21上に、3本の支柱19
を介して所定位置に支持された円筒カム22を備え、こ
の円筒カム22の周部にはカム溝22aが全周に1って
連続的に配置されている。
円筒カム22の周部には、紙管容器本体1を供給する紙
管容器供給ステーション25と、この紙管容器0本体1
の上端にプラスチックリングを取付けるリング取付はス
テーション26と、超音波振lIl装置により紙管容器
の内装フィルムにプラスチック製のリングをwJ@する
溶着ステーション27と、このリングを溶着された紙管
容器を排出する排出ステーション28とが順に配置され
ている。
そして、円筒カム22の下側のターンテーブル23がこ
れらの各ステーションに泊って間欠的に矢印Aの方向に
回転される。
上記円筒カム22の下側に同軸状に設けられた円環状の
ターンテーブル23の外周部には、円筒状の受は部材3
0がボルト等により等間隔に固設されている。
また、ターンテーブル23の内周部には円筒状の支持台
24が固設されており、この支持台24に設けられた適
宜の案内レール上を摺動部材32が垂直方向にのみ移動
できるように嵌合されている。この摺動部材32の上端
部には上方の円筒カム22のカム溝22a内を転勤する
ローラ32aが設けられ、下端部には受は部材30に対
し垂直方向に出入り可能なりランプ手段35が設けられ
ている。このクランプ手段35のクランプ腕36はカム
駆動軸37を介して駆動される適宜のカム装置により、
上記供給ステーション25及び排出ステーション28で
開放され、その他の位置で閉じられる。
円筒カム22のカム溝22aは、ターンテーブル23が
回転したときに、これらの各クランプ手段35を各作業
ステーションに応じて受は部材30より上の高位置と、
受は部材3o内に収容される低位置との間を垂直方向に
移動する。
リング取付はステーション26には、紙管容器本体1の
上端にプラスチックリング2を取付(プるリング装着装
置38が設けられており、ターンテーブル23と同期し
て回転駆動されるターレット40を備える。
このターレット40は回転軸39により基台21上に支
えられており、この周部には4個の案内シリンダ41が
等間隔に装着されている。この案内シリンダ41はプラ
スチックリング2よりも0.1乃至111IB小径に形
成され、上端部はテーパ状となっており、プラスチック
リング供給装置46から移送レール47を介して移送さ
れてくるプラスチックリング2が嵌め込まれる。42は
プラスチックリング2を案内シリンダ41内に嵌め込む
押込みパ5ツドで、43は案内シリンダ41から押し抜
いて紙管容器本体の上端に装着する押し抜きパッドであ
る。これらの各パッド42.43はそれぞれエアシリン
ダ44.45により作動される。
このターレット40はタイミングベルトにより、ターン
テーブル23及びカム駆動軸38を介するカム装置と同
期して回転され、ターンテーブル23の受は部材30が
リング取付はステーション26に停止したときに、この
受は部材30と整合した位置に案内シリンダ41を停止
させる。
そして、本発明の実施例による溶着装置48がリング溶
着ステーション27に設けられている。
第2図に示すように、この溶着装置48はシリンダ50
で上下動されるホーン49を備える。プラスチックリン
グ2を溶着する場合、このホーン49の先端部は紙管容
器本体1の上端に装着されたプラスチックリング2内に
挿入されて、第3図に示すようにプラスチックリング2
の内周面に当接し、例えば約18,0OOHZの超高速
度で振動させる。
また、ホーン49のプラスチックリング2に当接する先
端部の上側には、冷却空気バイブ50が円環状に取巻い
ている。この冷却空気バイブ50は適宜のブラケット5
2を介してホーン49と共に上下動可能に結合されてお
り、このホーン49に面する側には多数の空気噴出孔5
1が穿たれている。
この冷却空気バイブ51は例えばエアーシリンダの作動
空気源から空気を供給されており、空気噴出孔51を介
してホーン49の外周面に空気を噴出する。これにより
、プラスチックリング2を超高速で振動させた時に発生
する摩擦熱がこのホーン49内に蓄積されない。
次に、溶着装置の作動についてこの紙管容器製造装置と
共に説明する。
第1図に示すように、紙管容器供給ステーション25に
おいてクランプ腕36を開いた状態のクランプ手段35
に紙管容器本体1が供給される。
この侵、クランプ腕36が閉じられ、ターンテ−プル2
3の回転と共に、カム122aに沿って摺動部材32の
ローラ32aが回転し、クランプ顧36を受は部材30
内に下降する。ターンテーブル23は所定の角度回転し
た後に停止し、このとき紙管容器本体1と共にクランプ
腕36を収容した受は部材30がリング装着ステーショ
ン26に配置される。
リング装着ステーション26では、プラスチックリング
取付は装置のターレット40はターンテーブル23と同
期して間欠的に回転されるため、紙管容器本体1の上側
にプラスチックリング2を持った案内シリンダ41が同
軸状に整合する。
そして、押込みパッド43がエアーシリンダ45により
伸張され、プラスチックリング2を案内シリンダ41か
ら押し抜き、紙管容器本体1の上端部に正確に嵌合させ
る。
この後ターンテーブル23が回転し、第2図に示すよう
にプラスチックリング2を装着された紙管容器本体1は
リング溶着ステーション27に回転移動される。
第3図に示すように、リング溶着ステーション27では
、超音波振動装置48のホーン49の先端部がプラスチ
ックリング2の内周面に嵌合し、超高速度で撮動させる
。このとき、プラスチックリング2の外周部の突条が紙
管容器本体1の内装フィルム1aと11jmし、このI
filI熱でプラスチックリング2の突条が溶融して内
装フィルム1aと接合される。このとき発生づる摩擦熱
はホーン49の先端部に伝達されるが、このホーン49
は冷却空気バイブ51から噴比孔52を介して吹付けら
れる空気により常に冷却されるため、連続的にプラスチ
ックリング2を多数溶着した後も、このホーン49に熱
が蓄積されない。
更に、ターンテーブル23が回転すると、クランプ手段
35は排出ステーション28に移動されると共に、円筒
カム22のカム溝22aにより上昇されて受は部材30
より上側の高位置に移動される。そして、クランプ腕3
6を開放した後、紙管容器本体1がコンベア等を介して
排出される。
[効果] 以上明らかなように、本発明による溶着装置によれば、
ホーンにプラスチックリングの摩擦熱が蓄積されず、し
たがって、連続的に多数のプラスチックリングを溶着す
る場合にも、容器本体に対して正しい位置に正確に溶着
することができ、効率よく紙管容器を製造することがで
きる。。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 紙管容器本体の上部に溶着されるプラスチックリングに
    当接するホーンと、このホーンの周部に前記プラスチッ
    クリングとの当接部から所定の間隔を介在させて環状に
    配設した冷却空気パイプと、この空気パイプのホーンに
    面する側に穿たれた複数の空気噴出孔とを備え、前記プ
    ラスチックリングに当接するホーンの部分を一定温度に
    保持させたことを特徴とする超音波溶着装置。
