イバ脱水焼結装置の概略図、第５図は従来の炉芯
管の断面図である。 図面中、１は昇降装置、２は回転チヤツク、３
は炉体、４は炉芯管、５は上蓋、６はシード棒、
７は多孔質母材、８，９，１０はつば、１１，１
２は小室、１３は排気ガスポート、１４はシール
ガス用ポート、１５，１６は気密リング、１７，
１８，１９は短パイプ、２０，２１は周方向のガ
ス通路である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 炉体を貫通して設けられた炉芯管本体の上
    端に上蓋が装着されると共に該上蓋を貫通するシ
    ード棒を介して多孔質母材が炉芯管内で上下動か
    つ回転自在に支持され、更に炉芯管内に不活性ガ
    スをベースとするガスが導入され、また前記上蓋
    の貫通部分には２つ以上の小室が形成されると共
    にこれらの小室の１つ以上には排気ガスポートが
    設けられ、残りの１つ以上の小室にはシールガス
    導入ポートが設けられてガスシール構造が構成さ
    れた炉芯管において、上記小室の少なくともいず
    れかには、上記シード棒に遊嵌する気密リングが
    移動自在に挿入されると共に該気密リングの内径
    がシード棒の外径に比べ０．０２mm以上かつ０．
    ５mm以下であり、しかも、上記小室を区切るつば
    の内径が上記シード棒の外径に比べ０．５mm以上
    かつ４mm以下であることを特徴とする光フアイバ
    製造用炉芯管。 (2) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載され
    た上記つばの最内周に短パイプが少なくとも１か
    所以上具えられると共に該短パイプの内径がシー
    ド棒の外径に比べ０．５mm以上かつ４mm未満であ
    ることを特徴とする光フアイバ製造用炉芯管。 (3) 実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項もしくは第
    ２項において、上記気密リングの下面に周方向の
    ガス通路が設けられることを特徴とする光フアイ
    バ製造用炉芯管。
