Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、疼痛敏感な歯（ＳｅｎＳｉｔｉＶｅ　ｔｅｅ
ｔｈ）を除痛する（ｄｅｓｅｎｓｉｔｉｓｉｎｇ）ため
の歯みがき組成物に関する。
歯垢は口腔疾患の土な原因である。プラーク酸は歯のエ
ナメル質を侵し、虫歯を生じさせる。歯垢より生じた毒
素のために歯肉が炎症を起しく歯肉炎）、時には歯肉の
退縮や歯の喪失（歯周炎）が生ずる。歯から歯肉が退縮
（ｒｅｃｅｓｓｉｏｎ）すると、港＆の栄牙質が露出さ
れ、歯が触覚及び／又は熱的刺部に対して敏感となる。
こうした疼痛により歯分となる他更なる問題も提起され
る。
本発明の目的は、優れた効果を与える新規な成分の組合
せを有する改良された組成物によって、疼痛敏感な歯の
問題を解消することにある。
本発明により提供される疼痛敏感な歯を除痛するだめの
歯みがき組成物は、カリウムイオンの水溶性源と２．４
．４’　　−トリクロ１コー２′　−ヒト［コキシジフ
ェニルエーテル［双手、トリクロサン（ＴｒｉｃｌＯ３
ａｎ）と称する］とを含む。
カリウムイオンの好ましい源であるカリウム塩は硝酸カ
リウム、クエン酸カリウム、塩化カリウム及び重炭酸カ
リウムである。ｕＳ−＾−３，８６３，００６には、歯
の除痛剤（ｄｅｓｅｎｓｉｔｉｓｉｎｇ　ａｇｅｎｔ）
として硝酸カリウムの使用が記載されている。欧州特許
出願Ｎα０，０９５，８７１には、疼痛敏感な歯に関連
した疼痛を軽減するためにクエン酸カリウムが有効であ
る旨が記載されている。塩化カリウム及び重炭酸カリウ
ムの使用も国際特許出願ＷＯ８５１０４０９８に記載さ
れている。カリウムイオンを生ずる他の水溶がきの他の
成分であるトリクロサンは、歯肉退縮の主たる原因であ
る歯垢に対して効果を発揮する。
従って、本発明の歯みがきは疼痛敏感な歯の問題に対し
て２通りの作用を発揮する。２種の活性成分の各作用に
より、各成分を単独で使用したときには得られない予期
せぬ程の有効性が認められる。
トリクロサンが歯を着色することも、歯みがきに不快な
味を与えることもないので、トリクロ勺ンは他の成る種
の抗菌剤と比べて非常に有利である。
望ましくは、カリウム塩はカリウムとして換粋して歯み
がきの約０．７〜３重畿％、好ましくは約１．５〜２．
３７１１１１％の聞使用され、トリクロサンは歯みがき
の約０．１〜０．５重量％のＭ使用される。
歯みがきが当業界で公知の各種成分を含んでいてもよい
。前記成分としては、湿潤剤例えばグリロール又はソル
ビトール、研磨洗浄剤例えばシリカ、結合若しくは増粘
剤例えばナトリウムカルボキシメチルセルロース及び洗
浄剤例えばラウリル硫酸ナトリウムが包含される。
本発明の歯みがき組成物がポリエチレングリコールを含
んでいてもよい。歯みがきの目的で一定範囲の分子量を
有するポリエチレングリコールを使用することが既に提
案されている。適当部例えば歯みがきの約１〜１０ｆ［
％の量のポリエチレングリコールを配合してもよい。例
えばＥＰ−Ａｍ２２０．８９０には、トリクロサン含有
歯みがきに分子ｆｉ　２００〜１０００のポリエチレン
グリコールを配合することが提案されている。
他の各種微量成分、例えば香料、保存剤０着色剤、フッ
化物、甘味料、乳白剤を配合することもできる。前記成
分は慣用的使用される。
本発明は、本発明の歯みがきを非常に疼痛敏感な歯に適
用することからなる非常に疼痛敏感な歯を除痛するため
の方法にも関する。
以下、本発明の新規な歯みがきについて例示する。パー
センテージは重量％である。
実施例１ 歯みがきは下記成分を有する。

水塩を使用した以外は実施例１と同一の歯みがきを作成
した。
実施例３ 硝酸カリウムに代えて３．６９９の塩化カリウムを使用
した以外は実施例１と同一の歯みがきを作成した。
友ＩＬユ 硝酸カリウムに代えて４．９５　（Ｊの重炭酸カリウム
を使用した以外は実施例１と同一の歯みがきを作成した
。
上記実施例の歯みがきを通常の方法例えばブラッシング
で歯に適用したところ、歯みがきは歯の非常に疼痛敏感
な領域、特に歯の象牙質の非常に疼痛敏感な領域の敏感
性を減少させるのに有効であった。

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）カリウムイオンの水溶性源と２，４，４′−トリ
    クロロ−２′−ヒドロキシジフェニルエーテルと慣用の
    歯みがき成分とを含む疼痛敏感な歯を除痛するための歯
    みがき組成物。
  2. （２）カリウムイオンの源が硝酸カリウム、クエン酸カ
    リウム、塩化カリウム及び重炭酸カリウムからなる群か
    ら選択されたカリウム塩である請求項１記載の歯みがき
    組成物。
  3. （３）カリウムイオン源が硝酸カリウムである請求項１
    又は２記載の歯みがき組成物。
  4. （４）カリウムイオン源がクエン酸カリウムである請求
    項１又は２記載の歯みがき組成物。
  5. （５）カリウムイオン源が歯みがきの約０．７〜３重量
    ％の量のカリウムを与える請求項１〜４のいずれかに記
    載の歯みがき組成物。
  6. （６）約０．１〜０．５重量％の２，４，４′−トリク
    ロロ−２′−ヒドロキシジフェニルエーテルを含む請求
    項１〜５のいずれかに記載の歯みがき組成物。
