Abstract

1466930 Dental paste M HODOSH 18 April 1974 16954/74 Heading A5B A dental desensitising agent for hypersensitive teeth or exposed dentin and cementum comprises a non-toxic paste containing a nitrate of lithium, sodium or potassium. In an example, a toothpaste contains potassium nitrate, glycerin, hydroxyethylcellulose, polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate, micronised silica, spearmint oil, saccharin and water.
