Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、異なる材質の樹脂部材の結合方法に関するも
のである。
従来の技術 従来の異なる材質の樹脂部材は1接着、2超音波溝着等
の熱溶着等の方式を用いて結合を行なうものであった。
発明が解決しようとする問題点 しかしながら、上記の接着を行なう場合には、溶剤を用
いることにより、同質の非晶性樹脂の結合を行なうこと
ができるが、接着剤塗布全均一に行なうことが必要であ
り、塗布の不均一性による結合力のばらつきが生じ、製
品に用いる場合には品質低下とコスト上昇を生じやすい
という問題点を有していた。また、結晶性樹脂の結合を
接着法により行なうことは、予備処理の必要があるとと
もに結合力の著しい低下を生じるという問題点があった
また、上記2熱溶着には、ピン状の突起部を結合する相
手部材の孔にはめ込み突起部の先端を押しつぶす熱かし
め法があるが、この方法では接合強度が小さく、水密構
造を必要とする部位に接合部を位置させることはできな
かった。また、超音波溶着等の熱により結合部を溶融さ
せ、全面を瞬間的に互いに溶着する方法においては、同
材質の溶着や、異なる材質の溶着でも互いに化学的溶融
性を有する樹脂間の結合には適当であるが、融点が異っ
たり、互いに化学的溶融を生じない樹脂間においては結
合させることができないという問題点があった。
不発明は上記問題点に鑑み、融点が異なり、化学的溶融
性を持たない異なる利質の樹脂部材間の結合を簡単に行
ない、かつ結合力の低下を生じることなく、水密性精度
の向上を図る樹脂部材の結合を行なうことを目的とする
問題点を解決するための手段 上記目的を達成するために本発明の樹脂部材の結合方法
は、融点の異なる2個の樹脂部材のうち、高融点側の樹
脂部材表面に略くさび状の突出部を設け、両樹脂部材の
融点間の温度の熱を少なくとも低融点側樹脂部材表面に
加え、突出部を低融点側樹脂部材表面に押し当てること
により、両樹脂部材を結合させるものである。
作  用 上記方法により、高融点側樹脂部材と低融点側樹脂部材
の融点の間の温度の熱を少なくとも低融点側樹脂部材表
面に加えることにより、低融点側樹脂部材の表面が溶融
状態になる。このとき高融点側樹脂部材は融点に達する
ことがないため固体状態にあり、両部材に圧着方向への
圧力を加えることKより、高融点側樹脂部材の突出部が
低融点側樹脂部材の表面溶融部位に食い込み、低融点側
樹脂部材の溶融樹脂が略くさび形状の根元部に入り込み
かつ両部材間の隙間に侵入することになり、熱を取り除
くと溶融樹脂が突出部を巻き込む状態で凝固することに
なる。
この結果、高融点側樹脂部材の突出部が低融点側樹脂部
材表面にくさび状に食い込むことにより、結合力の向上
を図ることができるとともに、両部材間に低融点側樹脂
部材の溶融樹脂が充填され、水密性の向上を図ることが
できる。
実施例 以下、本発明の一実施例を添付図面にもとづいて説明す
る。第1図に示すように、高融点樹脂部材1の表面に突
出部1aを設け、さらにこの突出部1aの側面形状を逆
くさび形状として突出部1aの根元部に凹部1bを設け
る。この突出部1aにに対向して低融点樹脂2を設置す
る。この両樹脂部材1および2を矢印3方向に向って加
圧力を生じることのできる治具上型3と受は治具4の間
に設置し、さらに両部材1,2間を矢印イの水平方向に
移動可能とした熱源を有する熱板5を設置する。上記し
た構成により、第2図aに示すように受は治具4上の低
融点樹脂部材2の表面に熱板5を置き、低融点樹脂部材
2の融点を越える熱を樹脂部材2の表面に加え、樹脂部
材1との結合に必要な溶融部2aを生じさせる。このと
き、樹脂部材2を溶融させる温度は樹脂部材1の融点よ
り低く設定するよう熱板5の温度制御を行なう。樹脂部
材2に溶融部2aが生じた後熱板5を矢印イの水平方向
に移動させるとともに治具上型3を矢印ア方向に動かし
、高融点樹脂部材1の突出部1aと低融点樹脂部2の溶
融部2aを突合せ加圧を行なう。この時第2図すに示す
ように突出部1aの温度は高融点樹脂部材1の融点に達
していないため、固体化の状態で溶融2a内に食い込む
ことになり、溶融部2aが凝固することにより、突出部
1aは溶融部2b内にくさび状に食い込むことになる。
第3図aに示すように、突出部1aの側面部に有する凹
部1bに溶融樹脂が巻き込む形状となり、両樹脂部材1
および2の結合力が生じることになる。また、突出部1
aの容積の溶融樹脂が、両樹脂部材1および2が加圧さ
れることにより、両樹脂部材1および2間に充填し、隙
間が著しく小さくなることにより、両樹脂部材1および
2間の水密性向上を図ることができる。
この結果、高融点樹脂部材1の表面に略くさび形状を形
成した突出部1aを設け、低融点樹脂部材2の溶融部2
aに食い込ませるだけで、両樹脂部材1および2は確実
に結合することができ、さらに水密性の高い結合面を得
ることができるのである。
また、以上の説明かられかるように、両樹脂部材1およ
び2の結合力を向上させるには、樹脂部材1の突出部1
aの略くさび形状の凹部1bの面積を大きくすればよく
、第3図すに示すように、突出部1aの形状を逆T字形
状とし、溶融樹脂の突出部1aの凹部1bへの差込量を
大きくすることによシ、両樹脂部材1および2の結合力
向上を図ることができる。
以上、説明したように本発明で記す略くさび形状とは、
突出部1aの根元部寸法が先端部寸法より小さい突出形
状を示し、さらに先端部に挿入ガイドとしての三角形状
の形成した突出部をいう。
次に本発明の他の実施例について説明する。 ゛第4図
は他の実施例を示しており、この実施例では高融点側樹
脂部材1の突出部1aの両側に突出部1Cを設けている
。すなわち、上記実施例で説明した突出部1aの容積の
低融点樹脂部材2の溶融樹脂を突出部1Cにより、外側
にはみ出させることなく、突出部1aおよび1C間に閉
じ込へ両樹脂部材1および2を加圧することにより、突
出部1aへの巻き込みおよび両樹脂部材1および2の隙
間への溶融樹脂の充填密度が高くなる。よって両樹脂部
材・11および2の結合力と水密性の向上を図ることが
できるのである。
発明の効果 以上実施例の説明から明らかなように本発明の方法は、
樹脂部材の融点差および化学的溶融性のない性質を利用
して異なる材質の樹脂部材を瞬間的に結合できるため、
低コスト化を図ることができるとともに、確実で均一か
つ大きな結合力を得ることができ、さらに高精度の水密
性を有する結合を行うことができる。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 融点の異なる樹脂部材のうち高融点側の樹脂部材の表面
    に略くさび形状の突出部を設け、少なくとも融点の異な
    る樹脂部材のうち低融点側の樹脂部材表面に高融点樹脂
    部材の融点より低く低融点側の樹脂部材の融点より高い
    温度の熱を加え、前記低融点側の樹脂部材の表面に前記
    突出部を押し当て、両樹脂部材を結合させる樹脂部材の
    結合方法。
