Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 「産業上の利用分野」 本発明は大形透明水槽等を製造するためのアク
リル透明板接着法に関するものである。
「従来の技術」 従来大形アクリル透明板による水槽の隣接側板
(2000mm×1000mm×1000mm×20mm)の直角接着は
外部盛上式又は膨潤接着法が採用された。しかし
外部盛上式では接着剤内部の空気残留を伴い気泡
を残留して透明度を向上し難いばかりか外部盛上
部(肉盛部)の鋸切断痕跡による半透明部を生じ
これを鏡面研磨するため多大の労力と時間を要
し、かつ接着強度は70〜80%であり水槽の強度を
向上し難い欠陥があつた。又膨潤接着法では接着
幅が0.05mmと薄いため気泡の排出が困難でそのた
め接着強度を向上し難くかつ作業能率を向上し難
い欠陥がある。
即ち外部盛上式接着法では第13図示すように
一方の側板3′の一端を他方の側板2′の側面から
突出させて段15を形成し、他方の側板2′の端
面を斜面となし、両側板2′,3′の内側交差面に
アルミ箔16で閉鎖し、上記突出段15に堰板1
7を配置して重合アクリルボンド(アクリル系接
着剤4)を堰板17の内側から供給し楔形空間を
同接着剤4で充填し両側板2′,3′を接着した後
同第13図仮想線18に沿つて切断した。
ところが上記外部盛上式接着法ではアルミ箔1
6側から楔形空間の接着剤4内に空気が進入する
(接着剤4が低粘性であるため)。
又第13図の従来法では仮想線18に沿つて切
断した後斜交仮想線19に沿つて切断して角の交
差面(糸面)を形成し切断に2工程を要し、かつ
内側交差面にアールを形成し難くそのためにも強
度を向上することは困難であつた。
「発明が解決しようとする問題点」 本発明は接着部に気泡がなく透明度を向上し一
度の切断工程によつて角の交差面(角の糸面)を
形成しかつ接着強度を向上することを目的とす
る。
「問題点を解決するための手段及び手順」 本発明は隣接アクリル透明板の隣接縁に片刃面
を形成し、同片刃面の先端部を接して同片刃面間
に楔形空間を保持し、かつ一方のアクリル透明板
の片刃面の先端を他方のアクリル透明板の外面の
外側に若干突出し、同突出部と他方のアクリル透
明板の外面との境界部にアクリル系接着剤を塗着
した後上記楔形空間内にアクリル系接着剤を充填
硬化させた後上記両片刃面の先端部を上記境界部
に沿つて切断し、上記両透明板の外面間に交差面
を形成することを特徴とするアクリル透明板接着
法によつて構成される。
「作用」 従つて一方の透明板3の片刃面5の先端7を他
方のアクリル透明板2の外面の外側に若干突出し
た部分にアクリル係接着剤4を保持して境界部8
に同接着剤4を塗着することができ同接着剤4に
よつて境界部8が密封され同部8から楔形空間6
内への空気進入が阻止される。そして同空間6内
に両透明板2,3の内側交差部側から上記接着剤
4を注入すると境界部8から空気進入がなく同接
着剤4の流動性によつて同空間6は充填され同空
間6内の空気は浮上して開口部から排出される。
そして硬化後上記内側交差部側の肉盛接着剤4を
削つて凹アール面を形成することができる。
「実施例」 長方形アクリル透明底板1の上面外周に互に隣
接直交するアクリル透明側板2,3を載置する。
同側板2,3の下端は第9図、第10図に示すよ
うに傾斜切断面を有し、同切断面の先端を底板1
に接し、底板1と切断面との間の楔状空間にアク
リル系接着剤4(メタクリル樹脂溶液に硬化剤を
混合した接着剤)を充填硬化させて底板1と側板
2,3とを接着固定させる。この隣接側板2,3
の隣接縁には片刃面5,5を形成し、同片刃面
5,5の先端部を接して同片刃面5,5間に楔形
空間6を保持させる。そして一方の側板3の片刃
面5の先端7を他方の側板2の外面の外側に若干
(2mm)突出し、同突出部に上記接着剤4を支持
して他方の側板2の外面との境界部8に上記接着
剤4を塗着肉盛しこれを硬化(約1時間で硬化)
させた後上記楔形空間6内に上記アクリル系接着
剤4を注入し充填硬化させる。その際空間6内の
空気は浮上して開口部から排出され空気が空間6
内に残留することはない。その後上記両片刃面
5,5の先端部を上記境界部8に沿つて鋸で切断
し、両側板2,3の外面間に交差面9即ち糸面を
形成するものである。又上記側板2,3の内側交
差面のアクリル系接着剤4の肉盛部をロータリー
砥石等で削除研磨して第6図に示すようにアール
面仕上げを行う。第7図、第8図では楔形空間の
開き角を第5図、第6図より大に形成して接着強
度の増加が計られる。尚図中10で示すものは塗
着接着剤4の支持アルミ箔、11は塗着案内アル
ミ箔、第9図中12は接着剤堰止板、13は側板
2,3の上端耳部、第2図中14は底板1と側板
2,3との支持枠(治具)である。
「効果」 本発明は上述の方法によつたので、楔形空間6
の内側開口部からアクリル系接着剤4を注入する
と外側の境界部8に沿う接着剤4のために楔形空
間6の先端部(境界部8)は充分密封され境界部
8から楔形空間6内への空気の進入が無いから楔
形空間6内の接着剤4内に気泡を残留することな
く同空間内接着剤4の透明度が側板2,3と同一
透明度に保持された同側板2,3と同接着剤4と
の材質の変化がなく一体の角部を形成し得ると共
に交差面9は一工程の切断作業によつて迅速に形
成し得るばかりでなく内側交差面に接着剤4の肉
盛を形成しかつこれを凹アールに削ることができ
るため強度大で品質の良い大形アクリルボードに
よる水槽が簡便に得られる効果がある。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 1 隣接アクリル透明板の隣接縁に片刃面を形成
    し、同片刃面の先端部を接して同片刃面間に楔形
    空間を保持し、かつ一方のアクリル透明板の片刃
    面の先端を他方のアクリル透明板の外面の外側に
    若干突出し、同突出部と他方のアクリル透明板の
    外面との境界部にアクリル係接着剤を塗着した後
    上記楔形空間内にアクリル系接着剤を充填硬化さ
    せた後上記両片刃面の先端部を上記境界部に沿つ
    て切断し、上記両透明板の外面間に交差面を形成
    することを特徴とするアクリル透明板接着法。
