シヨンの部分断面略図、第３図は第１図のレーザ
走査ステーシヨンにより発生した走査フイールド
内に位置する多線走査パターンの略線図、第４図
は可動式レーザ走査ヘツドを有する卓上自立型レ
ーザ走査ステーシヨンの別の実施例を示す正面図
、第５図は見下ろし走査位置にヘツドをセツトし
た第４図の走査ステーシヨンの右側面図、第６図
はヘツドを横向走査位置にセツトした第４図の走
査ステーシヨンの右側面図、第７図はコード付さ

補正 昭６１．９．９ 実用新案登録請求の範囲を次のように補正する
。
【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 Ａ レーザー走査ヘツドであつて、 (a) 出口孔を形成した底壁部を含む壁構造を
有するハウジングと、 (b) レーザー光線を発生するために前記ハウ
ジング内に取付けられた光源手段と、 (c) 前記レーザ光線を所定の光路に沿つて進
ませ、前記出口孔から出射させてハウジング外部
に位置する基準面に近接して配置されたバーコー
ド記号に向かわせるために前記ハウジング内に取
付けられた光学手段と、 (d) 前記レーザ光線を、これが前記バーコー
ド記号を横切るように掃引してそこから反射させ
るために前記ハウジング内の光路中に取付けられ
た走査手段と、 (e) 前記バーコード記号から反射された光の
強度を検出し、その光強度を指示する電気信号を
発生するために前記ハウジング内に取付けられた
検出手段と、 (f) 前記電気信号を処理して前記バーコード
記号を記述する処理信号を発生するために前記ハ
ウジング内に取付けられた信号処理手段とからな
るものと、 Ｂ ハウジングの外部に位置し、所定の支持面上
に取付け可能としたベースと、 Ｃ 前記ヘツドを前記ベース上において前記底壁
部がそのベースに対向して実質上平行に位置する
ように支持することにより、前記所定の支持面上
に載置されると共に、前記ヘツド及びベースと共
に独立単体として一つの位置から別の位置へ携帯
することができるレーザ走査ステーシヨンを構成
するためのヘツド取付手段とを備えたことにより
、 前記ヘツドを前記ベースから所定レベルだけ上
位に位置させた状態において、前記出口孔からほ
ぼ下方に出射したレーザ光線を前記ベースに向か
つて導くことにより、使用者が前記バーコード記
号をその上方から監視できるようにし、かつその
バーコード記号を支持した目的物を前記レーザ走
査ステーシヨンに左右いずれかの側から通す間に
、そのバーコード記号を前記出口孔から出たレー
ザ光線の光路中に位置づけることができるもので
あり、 前記レーザ走査ステーシヨンにはさらに Ｄ 前記レーザ走査ステーシヨンに前記目的物が
左右いずれかの側から入つてきたことを判定する
ために同ステーシヨンに配置された二方向性目的
物検知手段を備えたことにより、 前記目的物を前記レーザ走査ステーシヨンの左
右いずれかの側から前記ヘツドの下側に通過させ
、前記出射レーザ光線をヘツド越しの前記読取の
ために、前記目的物上の記号に整合させることが
できるようにしたことを特徴とする 通過する目的物上のバーコード記号を読み取る
ための携帯用及び卓上自立型レーザ走査ステーシ
ヨン。

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) (a) 出口孔を形成した壁部を有するハウジ
    ングと、 (b) レーザ光線を発生するために前記ハウジ
    ング内に取付けられた超小型光源手段と、 (c) 前記レーザ光線を所定の光路に沿つて進
    ませ、前記出口孔から出射させてハウジング外部
    に位置する基準面に近接して配置されたバーコー
    ド記号に向かわせるために前記ハウジング内に取
    付けられた超小型光学手段と、 (d) 前記レーザ光線を、これが前記バーコー
    ド記号を横切るように掃引してそこから反射させ
    るために前記ハウジング内の光路中に取付けられ
    た超小型走査手段と、 (e) 前記バーコード記号から反射された光の
    強度を検出し、その光強度を指示する電気信号を
    発生するために前記ハウジング内に取付けられた
    超小型検出手段と、 (f) 前記電気信号を処理して前記バーコード
    記号を記述する処理信号を発生するために前記ハ
    ウジング内に取付けられた超小型信号処理手段と
    、 (g) 前記超小型光源手段、光学手段、検出手
    段、及び信号処理手段のすべてを収納した前記ハ
    ウジングにより構成された軽量で小型のレーザ走
    査ヘツドと、 (h) 所定の支持面上に取付けるためのベース
    と、 (i) 前記ヘツドを前記ベース上に取付けるこ
    とにより、前記所定の支持面上に載置されると共
    に、独立単体として一つの位置から別の位置へ携
    帯することができるレーザ走査ステーシヨンを構
    成するためのヘツド取付手段とを備えたことによ
    り、 前記ヘツドを前記ベースの所定レベルだけ上位
    に取付けて使用者がそのベースの上方から前記バ
    ーコード記号を監視できるようにし、かつそのバ
    ーコード記号を支持した目的物を前記レーザ走査
    ステーシヨンに通す間に、そのバーコード記号を
    前記出口孔から出たレーザ光線の光路中に位置づ
    けるようにしたことを特徴とするバーコード記号
    を読みとるための携帯用及び卓上自立型レーザ走
    査ステーシヨン。 (2) ハウジング部分壁の一つが前記ベースに対
    向してほぼ平行に配置された底壁部からなり、前
    記出口孔をその底壁部に形成して出射レーザ光線
    を前記ベースに向かつて下方に導くことにより、
    バーコード記号を上方から読みとるようにしたこ
    とを特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第(1)項
    記載の走査ステーシヨン。
