In general, transparent synthetic resin paints that do not require baking, such as acrylic resin paints that coat the copper surface, have poor weather resistance compared to baked paints that are coated with baking paint, and the copper surface will deteriorate over a long period of time. There is a problem of discoloration, and when a baking paint is used, the copper surface becomes oxidized and discolored due to heat oxidation during baking, making it impossible to maintain the beautiful color of the copper itself.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and will be described in detail below based on embodiments shown in the drawings. In this example, after the surface of a copper plate or copper plated plate is sulfur-colored, a scratch pattern is applied to give it an oxidized copper-like appearance, and then this is coated with alkyd, melamine,
An example of coating with a transparent synthetic resin baking paint such as polyester is shown. The figure shows a schematic process diagram of the above method, in which a sheet B unwound from a coil A of a copper plate or a copper plated plate is first immersed in a coloring tank 1 to be sulfurized and colored, and after drying, it is transferred to a hairline roll 2. A scratch pattern is applied to the surface, and then the transparent synthetic resin baking paint C discharged from the nozzle 3 is applied to the surface, and then solid paraffin is applied to the surface.
The sheet B is immersed in a baking tank 4 containing paraffin solution D heated and dissolved at 120°C to 280°C, and the transparent synthetic resin baking paint C is baked in an oxygen-free condition. The sheet B is then pulled out from the baking tank 4 and cooled. This removes the solid paraffin that sticks to the surface. In this way, the transparent synthetic resin baking paint C is baked in heated and melted paraffin liquid, so the copper surface does not undergo heat oxidation and discoloration during baking, making it weather resistant without damaging the oxidized tone of the copper surface. This is a highly durable transparent synthetic resin baking paint that can protect the copper surface. In addition, as described above, transparent synthetic resin can be baked onto the copper surface while cutting off air, and a baking paint with higher flexibility can be used compared to transparent synthetic resin paint that does not require baking. For example, the resulting transparent synthetic resin-coated copper plate is
Even when processed into rain gutters or roofing materials, the transparent synthetic resin baking paint C does not cause cracking and post-processing is easy. After the sheet has been baked, it is cooled in the air and then repeatedly bent and stretched while passing through multiple rolls 5, as shown in the figure, to peel off the solid paraffin that has hardened and adhered to the surface, and remove the solid paraffin. It is then rolled up. Note that the solid paraffin can be peeled off not only by the above method but also by any other method.
