DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention involves laminating the metal base material 1 on the surface of the synthetic resin layer 4 and subjecting the surface of the metal base material 1 to surface treatments such as oxidation treatment and sulfurization treatment. This invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal rain gutter, characterized in that a water-soluble clear layer 2 is formed before the surface treatment is completed, and then a baked-on clear layer 3 is formed thereon. The object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a metal rain gutter in which the surface of the metal base material maintains a uniform surface condition and has excellent resistance to weathering and discoloration.

Conventionally, when manufacturing metal rain gutters, the surface of copper or other metals coated with copper is subjected to surface treatments such as oxidation treatment and sulfurization treatment to be colored, and then scratched by brushing etc. Although it has a pattern etc.
Since such patterning is generally done in an aqueous solution, a water-soluble anti-rust clear is applied and dried, and then a clear that can be processed at low temperatures and does not discolor the copper, such as a solvent-based acrylic clear, is applied to prevent discoloration of the copper. However, when such solvent-based clears are used, the copper surface is easily scratched, and when contaminated with oil, the clear peels off, making it impossible to obtain rain gutters with sufficient weather resistance and discoloration.

When a two-component curing type polyurethane clear is used to overcome these drawbacks, the coating process is not only troublesome because of the two-component curing process, but it is also expensive in terms of cost. Furthermore, attempts have been made to dry the copper surface after coloring and patterning, but the copper surface is not evenly dried during drying and is partially oxidized in the air, making it impossible to obtain a rain gutter with a uniformly treated surface. Ta. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to illustrated embodiments.

The sheet 5 in which the copper foil 1 is laminated on the surface of the synthetic resin layer 4 is passed through the surface treatment device 6, and the surface of the copper foil 1 is colored by oxidation treatment or sulfurization treatment. While the surface is kept moist, a water-based anti-rust clear is applied to the surface of the copper foil 1, and an acrylic baking clear is applied using a dryer roller 8 at 80°C in a dryer 7, and then dried. It was baked in a machine 9 at 250° C. for 45 seconds to 2 minutes, and then passed through a molding machine 10 to form a rain gutter 12 with a water passage portion 11 on the synthetic resin layer 4 side.

The obtained rain gutter 12 has completely hardened baking clear,
The copper foil 1 was not discolored at all, the surface of the copper foil 1 was uniformly colored, and a tough baked-on clear layer 3 was formed on the surface of the water-soluble antirust clear layer 2. Note that if the surface of the water-soluble rust-preventing clear layer 2 is roughened by forming a hairline after drying, the adhesion with the baking clear layer 3 will be further improved. On the other hand, when baking was performed for more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, the copper foil 1 was completely discolored to red. In this embodiment, since the synthetic resin layer 4 is formed on the back surface of the metal base material 1, the metal base material 1 is protected from the back surface as well. In the present invention, if necessary, after surface treatment of the copper foil, a scratch pattern or the like may be applied using a brush or the like.

Further, as the metal base material, in addition to copper foil, a metal other than copper plated with copper, a synthetic resin layer coated with copper, etc. can be used. As the baking clear material, acrylic, alkyd, or polyester materials can be used. The baking conditions for baking clear differ depending on the type of baking clear, but the key point is that it is necessary to harden the baking clear in a short time without discoloring the copper.
Baking is completed within 3 minutes at a high temperature of 0°C or higher. In addition, when forming a rain gutter, a laminate of a metal material and a synthetic resin layer may be formed in advance into the shape of a rain gutter, followed by surface treatment, and then a water-soluble clear layer and a baked-on clear layer may be formed. ~ In the present invention, the surface of the metal base material is subjected to surface treatment such as oxidation treatment and sulfurization treatment, and the water-soluble clear layer is formed before the surface treatment is completed to keep the surface of the metal base material in a moist state. It is possible to obtain a rain gutter that is hard to damage and maintains a uniform surface condition where the surface of the metal base material is not air oxidized. Moreover, the water-soluble clear layer prevents heat conduction to the metal base material during baking of the baking clear. It also acts as a deterrent to prevent discoloration due to heat on the surface of the metal base material.Furthermore, a baking clear layer is formed on top of the water-soluble clear layer, so the surface is tough and has excellent weather and discoloration resistance. Gutters can be obtained at low cost.
