Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は建造物の屋上などに敷設する防水シートの重ね
目地部を溶着せしめる方法に関するものである。
従来、この種の防水シートの溶着方法は、その重ね目地
部を接着剤で接着するか、熱風でシートを溶かして貼り
合せるいわゆる融着するかによって接合していたが、前
者の場合は手作業であり作業性が悪く、接着剤の塗布ム
ラ(場所と量)が生じ平均的に接着されず接着の少ない
又は弱い個所から剥れる原因となり防水効果が薄いと共
に、核部が膨れ上る可能性が大である欠点を有し、後者
は機械作業で行うけれども両シートを熱で溶かすため極
めて高温の熱風を吹き付けなければならず危険性があり
熱風の当り具合によっては、これ亦溶けない部分が生じ
、融着ムラが出来る欠点を有していた。
本発明はこのような欠点を解消するためになされたもの
でシートの重ね目地部を熱風で加温すると共にその加温
部に溶剤を塗布し、その溶剤でシートを、溶かした後抑
圧して貼り合せる方法であり、その実施にあたる溶着機
の一例を図面について説明すると、機枠(A)の−側に
、前方から重ねシート(B)の端縁に沿って移動するガ
イド(2)と、目地部(B′)における両シートの重ね
面(6)を加温する温風噴出器(3)と、前記加温面に
溶剤を塗布するノズル(4)と、重ねシートの上面を押
える押圧1口(5)とを順次設は該ノズルと連通せる溶
剤タンク(6)を機枠上に設けてなる溶着機を用いる。
機枠(A)は所定の大きさに枠組され、モーター(M)
の駆動により回転する車輪(1)及びその回転に伴い転
勤する車輪(1′)とを取付け、モーター(M)の駆動
によって自走するものでその一側に、前方から、ガイド
(2)と、温風噴出器(3)と、ノズル(4)と、押圧
コロ(5)とを順次設は上面部には前記モーター(M)
の外に、ノズル(4)と連通ずる溶剤タンク(6)、及
び温風噴出器(3)と連通ずる送風器(7)、その他所
要の治具を設置して、所定の電気的結線を施す。
ガイド(2)は防水シート(B)の重ねシート端縁に沿
って機枠(A)を走行せしめるもので、機枠(A>から
支軸を突出しコロを転勤自在に設け、そのコロがシート
(B)の端縁に沿って転勤し、機枠(A)が位置ずれす
ることを防止する。
温風噴出器(3)はシート(B)の重ね部内に挿入して
目地部(B′)の重ね面(b )に温風を噴出せしめて
該シートを加温するもので、機枠(A)の−側に設けて
送風管(8)を介して送風器(7)と連通し、その送風
器(7)又は噴出器(3)にヒーターを内蔵せしめて送
風器(7)で加熱された温風を又は送風器(7)からの
送風を加熱した温風を噴出せしめる。又、この噴出器(
2)の噴出口部は裏面を平坦に、上面を平坦又は緩慢な
円弧状とし、その幅を目地部の幅と略等しいかやや小幅
状態とし、その噴出口(3′)を前方へ向って開口せし
め、温風を前方へ向って噴出して重ね面(b′)を加温
する。
ノズル(4)は目地部(B′)のシート重ね面(b)す
なわち加温面に溶剤を塗布せしめるもので、両シート間
に挿入され目地幅と略等しい幅を有し、後方に向って吐
出口(4′)を開穿し、バルブ(9)を介して送液管部
と連設し、この管部を機枠の一側に設けた支承筒(10
)に員挿通せしめて溶液タンク(6)と連結パイプ(1
1)で連通させる。吐出口(4′)は機枠(A)の後方
に向けて開穿し温風噴出器(3)からの熱が直接溶剤に
当らないようにする。又、送液管部は支承筒(10)に
上下動自在に員挿通し、その上下にスプリング(12)
を巻回してクッション性を保持させ、防水下地(C)又
は防水シート(B)に凹凸があっても緩衝出来るように
してあり、バルブ(9)は機枠(A)の自走速度に応じ
て溶剤の塗布量を調整、すなわち速ければ条間に、遅け
れば少量に吐出せしめるものである。通常は目地幅は約
4cmであり、1mの長さを塗布するために10〜12
oの量を吐出するように調整するけれども、これに限定
されるものではない。
抑圧コロ(5)は機枠(A)の後方すなわちノズル(4
)の後方に重ねシート(B)の上面を押圧するように設
けるもので、支軸にコロを転勤自在に取付け、押圧力を
調整又は解除するためにスプリングやハンドルを設ける
溶剤タンク(6)はシート(B)の重ね目地部すなわち
加温された面を溶かす溶剤を貯留するもので、ノズル(
4)の上端に形成された送液管部にパイプ(11)で連
結し、溶剤をノズル(4)の吐出口(4′)から吐出さ
せる。
溶剤はTHF(テトラフィドロフラン)に必要に応じて
増量剤としてMEK (メチルエチルケトン)、MIB
K(メチルイソブチルケトン)アノン、シクロヘキサノ
ン等を混合したものの他に、周知のものを用いる。
防水シート(B)は、此種の技術分野において周知のも
ので、防水下地(C)の上面に、該シートの端縁が互い
に重なるように敷設し、その重ねシートの端縁に沿って
溶着機を移動させ目地部のシートを加温、塗布して溶着
せしめる。
本発明は防水シートの重ね目地部を熱風で加温すると共
に、その加温部に溶剤を塗布し、その溶剤でシートを溶
かした後、押圧することにより、重ね目地部が柔らかく
ほぐされ、なじみやすくすると共に、仮に塵埃が耐着し
ていてもこれを吹き飛ばし不純物を排除出来た後溶剤の
塗布を確実に行い得る。前記シートの加温は冬期、特に
寒冷地では有効である。又この加温はシートを融かすも
のではないからそれに比較すると高温にする必要はなく
、このように加温され、不純物を除去された目地部のシ
ート重ね面に溶剤を塗布することによりシートが溶けて
粘着性が生じ、押圧コロなどで押圧することにより両シ
ートを粘着して一体にすることが出来ると共に溶剤の塗
布ムラがなく均一に粘着(溶着)するためその部分から
剥離することがなく、膨れの心配もなく防水効果が大で
あり、所期の目的を容易に達成し得る。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 防水シートの重ね目地部を熱風で加温すると共にその加
    温部に溶剤を塗布し、その溶剤でシートを溶かした後、
    押圧することを特徴とする防水シートの溶着方法。
