Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、揮発しにくく永続性のある固形状香料の製
造方法に関するものである。
アルコールに香油を溶解した香料は広く使用されている
が香りに持続性がない。また、固形物にした香料もある
が、これは固形物であるために香りの発散量が液体のも
のに比し劣る。
そこでこの発明は、アルコールにヒドロキシプロピルセ
ルロースを１〜５％溶解させたものに香油を加えて混合
したものと、ジベンジリデンンルビトールのＮ−メチル
−２ピロリドンの飽和溶解液とを混合して固形状にし、
アルコールを不活性化してゲル状にして香りが長期間持
続するようにした固形状の香料を提供することを目的と
して開発したものである。
香油は天然のものでも合成のものでもどちらでもよく、
天然のものは動物性でも植物性でもどちらでもよい。ま
たアルコールはエチルアルコール、メチルアルコールの
どちらでも使用可能である。
この発明にかかる固形状の香料とは完全に香料が同化し
ていす、ゲル状の状態であり、丁度ゼラチンの固まった
ような状態のもをいう。香料を完全な固形物としないの
は、固形物にすると、香りの持続性は高まるが、反面香
りの発散量が減り十分な香りを得にくいからであるや固
形状にすることにより液体のものに比し、香りの持続性
は高まり固形物のものと同等な持続性を有するとともに
、香りの発散量は液体のものとほぼ同等の発散量を有す
るものができるのである。
なお、アルコールにヒドロキシプロピルセルロースを少
量溶解させるのはアルコールを不活性化し、て常温にお
ける揮発性を低下させるためであり、ジベンジリデンソ
ルビトールを使用するのは香油をゲル化して不活性化し
て香りが飛びにくくするためである。
また、Ｎ−メチル−２ピロリドンを使用するのは、この
液体は常温において揮発性が少なく、かつジベンジリデ
ンソルビトールを非常によく溶解し、無臭かつ淡色でこ
のジベンジリデンソルビトールのゲル化作用を助けるの
に適している。また公害的毒性もほとんどない。
また、それぞれのものの混合方法と混合時間は次の通り
である。
（１）アルコールとヒドロキシプロピルセルロースと香
油の混合 ５０〜１１００ｒｐの攪拌機で１〜３時間ゆっくりと攪
拌混合する。
（２）上記（１）とＮ−メチル−２ピロリドンにジベン
ジリデンソルビトールを溶解した飽和溶解液との混合 上記（１）を５０ｒｐｍ以下で攪拌しているところへ飽
和溶解液をゆっくり滴下して１〜１０分間攪拌し、その
後静置しておく。するとＴ度水羊薬のような固形状の香
料ができあがる。
なお、使用方法によっては香料の持続性を増すために硫
酸カルシウムの粉末を混合することもできる。
次にこの発明の実施例を示す。
実施例１ 濃度９５％のエチルアルコールにヒドロキシプロピルセ
ルロースを３％（重量比）溶解させこれにラベ、ンダー
油２０％（重量比）を混合し２時間攪拌した。一方、Ｎ
−メチル−２ピロリドンにジベンジリデンソルビトール
を溶解し飽和溶解液とした。次にこれらを、前者を９５
．後者を５の割合（重量比）で混合し８分間攪拌した。
そしてラヘンダーの芳香を有する固形状の香料を製造し
た。
実施例２ 実施例１のラベンダー油に代えてジャスミン油を使用し
てジャスミンの芳香を有する固形状の香料を製造した。
実施例３ ６度９９％のエチルアルコールにヒドロキシプロヒルセ
ルロースを１％（重量比）溶解させこれにゲラニオール
５％（重量比）を混合し、１時間攪拌した。一方、Ｎ−
メチル−２ピロリドンにジベンジリデンソルビトールを
溶解し飽和溶解液とした。次にこれらを、前者を９６．
後者を４の割合（重量比）で混合し２分間攪拌した。そ
してバラの芳香を有する固形状の香料を製造した。
実施例４ 実施例３のゲラニオールに代えてシトロネラールを使用
してレモンの芳香を有する固形状の香料を製造した。
以上のようにこの発明にかかる固形状香料の製造方法に
よれば、香油とアルコールを共に不活性化しそれを固形
状のものとしたので、香りの持続性がよく、しかも香り
の発散量が多いという効果を有するのである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. アルコールにヒドロキシプロピルセルロースを１〜５％
    溶解させたものに香油を加えて混合したものと、ジベン
    ジリデンソルビ［−ルのＮ−メチル−２ピロリドンの飽
    和溶解液とを混合して固形状にしたことを特徴とする固
    形状香料の製造方法。
