Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、ゴキブリ等のような害虫を退治する為燻煙
を発生させる害虫駆除燻煙発生装置に関するもので、殺
虫剤素子を加熱して蒸散した燻煙により、害虫を確実に
追い出し及び殺虫することを目的とするものである。
すなわち、この発明は上下が開口する筒状の器体の下部
内周を下端程内径が広がるラッパ状に形成し、器体の上
部の空胴部内に電熱ヒータ素子の熱源部を装着すると共
に、器体の上端開口部において、前記熱源部の上方に対
応した位置に、蒸気圧が低く燻煙速度の遅いピレスロイ
ド系殺虫剤を含有し貫通孔を複数設けた殺虫剤素子を着
脱自在に装定することを特徴とする害虫駆除燻煙発生装
置に関する。
以下図面を参照しながらこの発明の実施例を具体的に説
明する。
１は空胴部の長さを上下開口部の径より大きく又は同一
とすることにより、空気の流通状態を良好にした所謂煙
突効果を有する器体２のその空胴部内に装着された熱源
部であって、ヒーター素子３の周囲を囲枠４で囲んで構
成するものである。
５は先端にさし込プラグ６を接続させる電源コード、７
，７，７は器体２を安定よく床面に設置する為の脚体で
ある。
またここで器体２の下部の内周は第１図に示すように下
端程内径が広がるラッパ状に形成して、器体２の下端開
口より空気が流入し易いようにしである。
８は石綿、セメント、焼石膏、グラスウール等鉱質物の
一種又は数種の混合したものを基材♂して、蒸気圧が低
く燻煙速度が遅いパーメスリン、α−フェノｊ−ＩＪン
等のピレスロイド系殺虫剤原体の１種又は数種を混合し
たものを殺虫成分とした殺虫剤素子であって、円形状又
は角型形状を為し、その表面積を広くすると共に、効率
よく燻煙化する為に複数個の貫通孔９，９．９が設けら
れている。
而して、この殺虫剤素子８を器体２の上方開口部附近に
おいて、熱源部１の上方位置に着脱自在に載承するもの
である。
この発明は前記のように構成して成るもので、次にその
作用状態について述べる。
さし込プラグ６を電源にさし込んでヒーター素子３に通
電することにより、熱源部１は熱を発生する。
器体２の空胴部は、上下方向に空気の流通を良好にする
よう形成されている為に、熱源部１により発生した熱は
器体２の空胴部による煙突効果に起因して自然対流現象
を起し、その温度が例えば１５０°Ｃ乃至４３０°Ｃの
燻煙発生の最適温度に到達すると、殺虫剤素子８は加熱
されて蒸散すするこさになり燻煙を発生する。
この燻煙が害虫たさえばゴキブリの通路の隙間に流入す
ることにより、そのゴキブリを有効に追い出し又は殺虫
するのである。
尚、装置内の適宜箇所に送風ファン（図示せず）を装着
して強制対流現象を起させて、より能率的に殺虫剤素子
８を蒸散させて燻煙を拡散させることにより害虫の通路
や隙間等の場所に流入させることができる。
又、装置内にタイムスイッチ（図示せず）を装着してこ
のタイムスイッチの操作により、時限的に燻煙発生作用
を行なわせたり、又断つこともできる。
更に、殺虫剤素子８に穿設されている複数個の貫通孔９
，９．９は、その殺虫剤素子８内部における熱風の流通
を促進する役目を果たして盛んな燻煙発生作用を行なわ
せることができる。
この発明に係る害虫駆除燻煙発生装置は、前記のように
、上下が開口する筒状の器体の上部の空胴内に電熱ヒー
タ素子の熱源部を装着しであるので、上下開口の空胴と
なった器体による煙突効果によって熱源部よりの熱風を
強制的に器体内を上方へ吹き上げさせることができると
共に、しかも器体の下部内周を下端程内径が広がるラッ
パ状に形成しであるので、器体の下端開口よりの空気流
入効率を向上させて煙突効果を一層高めるこきができる
ものであり、そしてこの煙突効果による熱風の吹き上げ
作用が殺虫剤素子に設けた貫通孔によって妨げられない
ようにして殺虫剤素子に熱風が効果的に作用するように
するこさができるものであって、熱源部よりの熱風を殺
虫剤素子に強制的にかつ効果的に作用させるこさができ
、加えて電熱ヒータによる熱源部は１５０〜４３０°Ｃ
さいう高温発熱をなすことができて殺虫剤素子を高温に
加熱することができ、蒸気圧が低く燻煙速度の遅いピレ
スロイド系殺虫剤を殺虫剤素子より効率よく蒸散させて
、燻煙を拡散的に盛んに発生させることができ、その燻
煙が害虫の通路に流入して害虫を確実に追い出し又は殺
虫するこさができる特徴がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 上下が開口する筒状の器体の下部内周を下端程内径
    が広がるラッパ状に形成し、器体の上部の空胴部分に電
    熱ヒータ素子の熱源部を装着すると共に、器体の上端開
    口部に君いて、前記熱源部の上方に対応した位置に、蒸
    気圧が低く燻煙速度の遅いピレスロイド系殺虫剤を含有
    し貫通孔を複数設けた殺虫剤素子を着脱自在に装定する
    ようにしたこさを特徴とする害虫駆除燻煙発生装置。
