Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は複数の熱可塑性樹脂製品を熱溶着する方法に
関する物である。従来からも樹脂の熱溶着は広く刈られ
、用いられているが、これらの方法では熱溶着を施こし
た部分がその熱の影響によって変形等をおこす為、厚肉
製品や溶着部裏面の外観状態を問題にしない製品に使用
はできても、薄肉製品や溶着部裏面の外観状態を重視す
る製品には使用できなかった。
この発明は、これら従来までの熱溶着法の欠点を解消す
るもので、これを図面について説明すれば、表面製品と
なる樹脂製品1の裏面に別の樹脂製品2を置き、その樹
脂製品2の上方よシ、それら樹脂製品1及び2の溶融温
度以上に加熱されたビン8を加圧、挿入して行く、また
この時、樹脂製品2を樹脂製品1へ若干圧着する様にす
る。尚、ビン3の温度は樹脂製品1及び2がP、P、の
場合280〜250℃位である。(第1図)加圧挿入さ
れたビン8は、樹脂製品2を貫通し、樹脂製品1へ侵入
して行くが、樹脂製品1の表面がビン3の熱でおかされ
る手前の位置まで侵入した後、直ちに抜き取られる。尚
、ビン8の樹脂製品1への侵入量が多い程溶着強度が増
す為、樹脂製品1の外観状態が変化を起こさない範囲で
ビン8を深く侵入させる事が必要である。尚ビン8の挿
入時間は1〜2秒と非常に短かい。(第2図)ビン8の
形状の1例を示すと第3図の通シであシ、ビン8は太す
ぎると熱溶着の際の熱による変形等の影響が出やすく、
細すぎると溶着強度が出ない。
本発明の溶着方法を用いた場合の溶着状態の1例を示す
と第4図の如くなシ、この例においては表面製品となる
樹脂製品1に別の樹脂戎品としてクリップ組付は部材2
′と補強リブ2が溶着されている。
また第5及び第6図に示す様に表面にガる樹脂製品1の
表側に柔らかな感触の材料5がラミネートされた場合で
も溶着強度及び表面外観に悪影響は見られない。柔らか
々感触の材料5として、は、カーペット、7アプリツク
、高発泡体(クッション)、ゴム等を用いる事ができる
。またその他、振動エネルギーを吸収する為、超音波溶
着が不可能と言われて来た柔らか表感触の材料5の場合
でも溶着可能である。熱溶着を施こした部分6の樹脂製
品1及び2の溶融接合状態は第7図に示すよ尚、溶着強
度はビン3による溶着点6の数に比例する為、溶着点6
を増す程、強い溶着強度が得らiる。
ネた、従来のハ溶着がそうである様に、樹脂製品1及び
2は相溶性のある材質でなければならない。
以上の様にして表面外観を損なう事なく、樹脂製品1の
裏面に種々の別樹脂部品2を熱溶着する事が可能となっ
た。

品の表面に柔らかな感触の羽料をラミネートした状況に
おいて、本発明の熱溶着を行っている状態を示す断面図
、第6図は、本発明の熱溶着を施こした聚晶に柔らかな
感触の材料をラミネートした樹脂製置の断面−1第7図
は、熱溶着箇所の詳細な断面高、1は表面製品となる樹

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 複数の熱可塑性樹脂製品を重ね合わせて、製品外観面の
    裏面方向から、加熱されたビンを加圧挿入して行き、ビ
    ンの周辺部の熱可塑性樹脂をビンの熱によって溶融状態
    となして重ね合わされた樹脂製品をビンの周辺部で溶融
    接合して一体となすと共に、ビンは表面になる樹脂製品
    を貫通せず、その製品の表面状態がビンの熱におかされ
    ない位置まで加圧挿入した後、重ね合わされた樹脂製品
    から抜き取ることを特徴とする合成樹脂の熱溶着方法。
