Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明はサーマルヘッド抵抗体部位曹形状の改良に関す
るものである。
従来のサーマルヘッドの製造において、基板上に多数個
のサーマルヘッドを対向となる様形成し製造されるが、
この様な場合グレーズ層の中心に発熱抵抗体の中心が合
致する様襄造する事が一般的であり、工場能力上発熱抵
抗体の位置ズレはグレーズ層を中心忙正規分布する。
サーマルヘッドの印字特性上発熱抵抗体の位置ＥｔＥ（
′１方向側ＶＣ数μ寄っていることが良く、従来のグレ
ーズ層中心に発熱抵抗体の中心が合致する製造工程にお
いてけ、発熱抵抗体部位ｔν成上歩留り低下の欠点を有
・している。
本発明と１前述のケ渣を解決すぺ（対向するグレーズ層
上に抵抗体前のＹ成をするが、対向する抵抗体パターン
の位置をあらか１゛め印字方向＠に数μ〜数十μ費更し
たパターンに？形成することＫより、印字品質の優良な
サーマルヘッドを歩留り良く安価に提供することＫある
。
以下、木登ｔ！１３の一実施例を図面を用いて説明する
。
第１図に示す如くサーマルヘッド製造では、グレーズ部
、抵抗体部が対向するパターンきなっているため、対向
する名サーマルヘッドは印字方向が異なる。したが）て
パターンのズレ岬が発生した場合にけ、抵抗体前が印字
方向と逆側にズレるサーマルヘッドが発生するため、第
７＠（第７図は第５図のグレーズ部、抵抗体部の拡大図
）に示す如く、抵抗体パターンのリスクをあらかじめ数
鄭印ｉ方向＠（Ａ剖）Ｋ寄せ、又対向するサーマルヘッ
ドけに剖−に寄せ、グレーズシ状の上に形成する。木登
−のパターニング方式で行ｔｒりととにより印字特性の
安９　した優良のサーマルヘッドが得られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 絶縁性基板上にグレーズ層、発熱抵抗体、電機保護層を
    形成してなるサーマルヘッドにおいて、発熱抵抗体の位
    置がグレーズ層中心より印字方向側に、１〜１５＾寄せ
    たことを４１１１とするサーマルヘッド。
