Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the leakage impedance and to suppress a shortcircuitting current in an electric power supplying circuit by winding two sets of primary and secondary coils on three leg cores, connecting the respective primary coils in series, and connecting the respective secondary coils through impedances in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When power source voltage is represented by E, load currents are represented by IA, IB, leakage impedance is represented by ZT and parallel impedance is represented by Z, VA=VB(E/2)-(1/4)(IA+IB)ZT - or + (1/4)(IA-IB)Z is obtained. Since the coil is so wound that the leakage impedance ZT becomes small and the impedance becomes, when the capacity of a transformer is increased, small, the voltage drop caused by the load current becomes, when the capacity of the transformer becomes large, small. When a shortcircuit accident, for example, occurs in a line 3 and ZA=0, ZB=infinity are obtained, VA=(E/2)-(1/4)IAZT-(1/4)IAZ=0 is obtained, with the result that the shortcircuitting current becomes IA=(2E)/ (ZT+Z). When the impedance Z is accordingly increased, the shortcircuitting current can be suppressed to small value.
