Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the current transformer particularly requiring a large current ratio by taking out a differential current through connecting two sets of secondary side windings different in number of turns each other in antiphase parallel. CONSTITUTION:A primary winding 11 in number of turns N11 is provided on a core 10, windings 21, 22 in number of turns N21, N22 are provided in antiphase parallel connection on secondary side, and a load resistance 25 is connected between common output terminals 23, 24. In this case, a relation between current I2 flowing in the resistance 25 and currents I21, I22 of each winding stands as I2=I21-I22= I11/N21-I11/N22. I21 is greater than I22 when N21 is less than N22, therefore a large current ratio is obtainable with less number of turns from selecting N22 pertinently. Where OP amplifier is incorporated in a load, a load impedance vierwed from the common output terminals works almost at OOMEGA for feedback action of the amplifier, therefore the current can be measured at high precision.
