Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain highly accurate and stable thyristor phase controller by forming a phase synchronizer of a digital circuit. CONSTITUTION:A binary counter 22 produces outputs at every 2N fundamental pulses fc' divided by M counter circuit 23 produces outputs at every M pieces of input pulses, which are counted by 2M-bit binary counter 24. When zero cross signal f is produced, a latch signal (b) is simultaneously supplied to a 2M-bit latch circuit 27, counters 22, 23, 24 are simultaneously cleared after the prescribed period of time by a time delay circuit 26, and pulses of 5C/M2N/f pieces for one period of power waveform are measured. Then, fundamental pulses fc is divided by the value of the counter latched by the N-bit frequency dividing counters 28, 29, thereby obtaining frequency pulses of MX2NXf synchronized in phase with the power waveform by the output terminal 30. Thus, high speed digital phase synchronizer can be obtained.
