Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of transformer and to make small the size of the circuit, by providing a control means which turns on and off the input to a smoothing means, in accordance with the output level of an amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A pulse voltage generating circuit (inverter) 3 which converts a DC voltage E into a pulsive voltage of a specified frequency is provided, this output pulse is transformed by a transformer 4 and positive and negative pulse voltges are obtained from both ends. This transformed pulse voltage is rectified at a rectifying circuit 5 and positive/negative DC voltages VA, VA' are obtained at a smoothing circuit 6 consisting of capacitors C1, C1'. The DC voltages VA, VA' are used as a collector voltage for power transistors Q1, Q1'. An output V0 of the transistors Q1, Q1' is applied to a control circuit 7 and a control signal in accordance with the level is produced. This control signal makes on/off control of the functional operation of the pulse voltage generating circuit 3.
