Abstract
PURPOSE:To suppress the rush current of a DC motor at the starting or stopping time by connecting a limiter to an adder for adding and comparing a speed command value and an actual speed value and applying a limit to the varying range of the difference between the speed command and the actual speed. CONSTITUTION:A sawtooth wave signal becoming 0 at the maximum value is obtained through a buffer 8 from a charging circuit 7 in synchronization with the 0 crossing point of an AC power source 1, is inputted to an adder and comparator 26 together with a speed error signal, and the firing times of SCR 1-4 for controlling the energization from a gate circuit 27 is controlled by the output of the comparator 26. When the speed error signal is obtained, a limiter 203 is connected to the speed command signal 12 and the speed feedback signal 13, and a limit set by a reference voltage source 16 is applied to the varying range of a speed error signal of the output of an adder 14.
