Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform stable control of a motor over the entire operating range by controlling the field of the motor in a strengthened field control range and in a weakened field control range in accordance with a correction signal which corrects the loop gain of a control system. CONSTITUTION:A comparator 23 produces a deviation signal between a bias amount set by a bias amount setter 22 and field current detection signal to an amplifier 24 with a limiter. A maximum value leading circuit having diodes 26, 27 produces as a gain correction signal Y the signal being larger of the output of the amplifier 24 and a gain correction signals set by a lower limiter setter 25. A divider 28 divides the field current command signal X produced from an armature current control system by the signal Y. A field current controlling amplifier 18 controls a field thyristor rectifier 20 in response to the deviation between the output signal Z of the divider 29 and the field current detection signal.
