A series circuit of a TR and a 3-terminal two-way thyristor is connected between DC output terminals B1 and B2 of the circuit BR. A control circuit consists of a resistance R6 connected between the collector and the base of the TR, a capacitor C9 plus resistances R1 and R2 which are connected in series between the base of the TR and the gate of the thyristor, and a resistance R9 connected in parallel to the capacitor C9. Then a switch SW is closed to supply the base current of the TR and the gate current of the thyristor.
