Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a heat sink and to realize the miniaturization of a device, by carrying out the control of electric power with the resistance. CONSTITUTION:When a rectified voltage VDC is lower than the Zener voltage VZD of a Zener diode ZD, the diode ZD is turned off. Accordingly, transistors (TR) Q4 and Q5 are also turned off, and thus a TRO3 is turned on to satisfy VDC VCC. When the voltage VDC becomes higher than the voltage VZD, the diode ZD is turned on. Accordingly, TRs Q4 and Q5 are also turned on. The TRQ3 is turned off with the ON of the TRQ4, and accordingly, a resistance R2 is connected in series to a load RL to perform the control of electric power. At the same time, a TRQ5 is also turned on and a series connection circuit comprising resistances R5 and R6 plus the TRQ5 is connected in parallel to the load RL to control the output voltage VCC. Then the value is set at a proper level for resistances R1, R4, R6 and R7, respectively. As a result, the voltage VCC can be kept at a certain level to some extent although the primary side input voltage of a transformer 1 has increment/decrement or the load RL has a fluctuation.
