Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize the titled apparatus as well as to carry out waste water treatment efficiently by a method wherein a part of circulated waste water of an aeration tank is sent into by a branch pipe passage connected to a circulation passage and a forced solid-liquid separation apparatus separating a sludge component and a liquid component is provided.
CONSTITUTION: Waste water is flowed into a liquid sump 5 of an aeration tank A from a waste water inflow pipe 15 and flowed downwardly through a downflow passage 3 and, from a lower end thereof, entered into an upflow passage 4 and flowed upwardly through the passage 4 to be entered into a liquid sump 6. Then, said waste water is entered into the liquid sump 5 of a said of the downflow passage through a circulation pipe passage 4 by action of a circulation pump 12 to carry out circulation. A part of the circulated waste water is flowed into a branch pipe 14 and sent to a forced solid-liquid separation apparatus 13 and revolved in a hollow cylinder 10 and a sludge with a high specific gravity is accumulated in a funnel like precipitation part 9 by cyclon action and a liquid part is sucked from a return pipe 11 to be sent to a next process.
