Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of precipitation by carrying out precipitation- separation treatment and aeration-precipitation treatment with a single tank by providing an proper washing mechanism and disposing tubular or plate member to provide precipitation-separation part.
CONSTITUTION: A horizontal tube module 2 is disposed vertically within a treating tank 1 to form precipitation-separation part for suspended solids which divides into a feed water inflow part 4 and a treated water outflow part 5. A tubby washing member 3 having an opening is arranged on the side of the inflow part 4 moveablely along the surface of the separation member 2. The washing member 3 is connected through a pipe 7 to the suction side of a pump 6. The opening of the discharge pipe 9 of the pump 6 faces the inflow part 4 which constitutes an aeration part, thereby the discharged water 8 is returned to the surface of the water on the inflow part 4. The discharge port of the discharge pipe 9 is arranged above the surface A of the water in the air, and the aeration can be carried out.
