Abstract
PURPOSE: To treat waste water effectively by returning the water of an aeration chamber or precipitation chamber into a separation chamber at all times and returning the same in return route thereby letting only the dissolved waste water into the aeration chamber at all times.
CONSTITUTION: The waste water purification tank A is constituted by a separation chamber 1, aeration chamber 2 and precipitation chamber 3. Between the separation chamber 1 and precipitation chamber 3 are communicated by the return route 9 consisting of pipe. A pump 10 such as air lift pump or water pump is disposed to the return route 9. The waste water from influent port 4 is separated 1 and aerated 2, thence it is precipiation-treated in the precipitation chamber. At this time, a small amount of the water in the precipitation chamber 3 flows into the return route 9 at all times. Since this influx is to the extent of not impairing the separation function of the separation chamber 1, it has the effect of allowing only the dissolved waste water into the aeration chamber 2 at all times without impairing the separation function. As a result of this, the waste water in the separation chamber 1 flows into the aeration chamber 2 as much as the influent solids have dissolved at all times without becoming of high concentration. This provides exactly the same effect as that of the pretreating device or flow control device attached to integrated treating units.
