Abstract
PURPOSE: To easily maintain a purifying apparatus with a flow rate regulator handling purified sewage by setting the regulator in a settling chamber and by continuously feeding a fixed vol. of sewage, into a disinfection chamber, subjected to sedimentation separation of solid matter, aeration and settling.
CONSTITUTION: Solid matter in inflow sewage 5 is settled in sedimentation separation chamber 3. The intermediate water is fed into aeration chamber 2 through opening 11 and purified. The purified water enters settling chamber 3 and is fed into disinfection chamber 4 with flow rate regulator 3. Since sewage 5 is stored or reduced in chambers 1, 2, 3, the vol. of sewage 5 differs from the vol. of water drained, and the water levels in the chambers change. However, regulator 6 constantly feeds the purified sewage in chamber 3 into chamber 4, and the vol. of water drained is also made constant, so the purification function of the apparatus is maintained at a high level.
