Abstract
PURPOSE: To clarify the sea water, pond water, etc., with the simple apparatus, by sucking and discharging the sediment settled on the bottom of the settling tank using the high pressure fluid jet, and by collecting the supernatant water overflowing the settling tank.
CONSTITUTION: The settling tank 1 is formed with the tent cloth, etc., into the inversed conical section; the suction pipe 2 opens its mouth in the deepest zone, and the wave interceptor tube 14 floating by the buoys 3, 3', fixed to the edge of the upper mouth of the settling tank 1 is installed.
