Abstract

PURPOSE:In a device which drives a compressor intermittently depending on the operation status, to simplify the constitution and improve the reliability thereof by stopping the operation of the compressor when the pressure of a hydraulic system for lubrication is moderated below a given value. CONSTITUTION:When the revolution of an engine is increased and the pressure in a pressure oil chamber reaches a predetermined level, contacts 12, 13 of an oil pressure switch 11 are closed, while a main electromagnetic switch 5 is forced to close contacts 15, 16, whereby a compressor 6 is driven through a magnet clutch 7. At the time of idling operation or non-operation of an engine, the oil pressure is lowered and the pressure oil switch 11 and the main electromagnetic switch 5 are sequentially opened to open the magnetic clutch 7. This automatic control device controls an air conditioner by detecting the oil pressure in such a way as the above constitution, whereby it is fabricated easily, and is not affected by dusts and has no change in performance as time goes by, which leads to high reliability.
