Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize an engine brake effectively and give full play to the function of an antiskid device by cutting off and holding the clutch during the operation of a braking device at a prescribed speed or below and during an antiskid action and by performing connecting operation gradually at the time of connection.
CONSTITUTION: A solenoid coil 12 operates based on the logical multiplication of a vehicle wheel rotation speed signal, a braking signal and an antiskid action signal, moving an armature 27 against a spring 34. The withdrawal lever 61 of the clutch is operated by an operating cylinder 14, and generally, under the oil pressure from a clutch master cylinder 51, the 1st piston 55 is operated. When the solenoid is operated, a valve 20 is opened, the oil pressure from a pump 23 is introduced into a chamber 58, whereby the 2nd piston 56 is operated. Since the oil pressure in the chamber 58 is lowered gradually by a throttle 41 when a signal is extinguished, the clutch is not geared in abruptly.
