Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a titled bubble element which is capable of transferring a bubble by a very small driving current even in case a conductive layer having internal stress has been used, by arraying an opening pattern in a specific direction against the crystallizing directioh of a bubble material. CONSTITUTION:In a current access time magnetic bubble element (symbols 21a- 22b in the figure denote a boundary area of the upper and lower opening patterns) which is provided with the first conductive layer having an opening pattern 25 on the upper side of a magnetic thin film, and the second conductive layer having an opening pattern 26 on its lower side, and moves a bubble 23 in the direction as indicated with an arrow by applying sine wave AC driving currents 27a, 28a having the overlapping of about 1/4 of the period and flowing in the direction as indicated with an arrow, when a film surface crystallizing direction 38 of the magnetic thin film is made (111), a magnetic bubble is transferred easily even in case a garnet magnetic thin film of lambda100-lambdanot equal to 0 has been used, by setting a moving direction of the magnetic bubble passing through the boundary area of said opening pattern, to one of (00-1), (10-1), (1-10), (0-11), (-11) (-101) and (-110).
