Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain compact atomizing apparatus having a simple structure, by spouting out the liquid chargedin the pressure chamber from the supplying chamber through a nozzle while an oscillation is given to the nozzle from an electric vibrator.
CONSTITUTION: An atomizing apparatus for liquids, such as liquid fuel, liquid medicine, etc., for example, a nozzle section 13 having a plural number of small hole nozzles 12, is installed at the front end of a pressure chamber 11 in the main body 10 of a kerosene combustion equipment. An electric vibrator 16 is installed at the bottom part of the chamber 11, and a ring-shaped supplying chamber 19 is communicated with the chamber 11 through a communicating section 20. The ring- shaped supplying chamber 19 has a liquid supplying section 21. When a combustion fan 3 is started by a controller 24, the kerosene is sent form the supplying section 21 to the chamber 19 by the blast pressure generated by an orifice 4, fills the chamber 11, and is pushed up to a liquid level 26. In this way, the kerosene is supplied from the whole circumference of the bottom section of the chamber 11 under a low resistance, and a vibrator driving section 27 is started to work. Then, the kerosene is spouted out and atomized through the nozzle 12 corresponding to the bending motion of the vibrator 16.
