Abstract

PURPOSE: To positively start atomizing operation while inhibiting dangers such as explosion or firing, by constructing an atomizer in a state such that a liquid pressure in front of a nozzle will be higher than an air pressure at the back of the nozzle when the operation of a vibrator is started, so that the air in a pressurized chamber can be completely exhausted.
CONSTITUTION: The atomizer involves a main body 6 provided with a pressurized chamber 7 to be filled with a liquid, a nozzle opening 10 formed so as to extend to the pressurized chamber 7, and electric vibrators 15, 16 to apply vibtation to the liquid in the pressurized chamber 7. The liquid is poured into the pressurized chamber 7 with a pressure generated by a blowing means 2. The liquid is supplemented from a cartridge tank 29 in a manner such that the liquid level is maintained constant in the pressurized chamber 7. When the blowing means 2 is operated, its blowing pressure raises the pressure inside a tank 27 through a pressure-introducing pipe 34, and the air flow pressure is transmitted to the liquid in the pressurized chamber 7 through a line passing from a coupling pipe 32 through a liquid-feed opening 33. Consequently, the liquid pressure in front of the nozzle opening becomes higher than an air pressure at the downstream side of the nozzle opening, and air in the pressurized chamber 7 is completely exhausted.
