Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a stable flow rate of LNG gas for a boiler by a method wherein a plurality of thermometers are arranged in a transporting tank of a tanker in which LNG contained in the transporting tank is used as a fuel, the output values from the thermometers are transformed into a functional signal to control a suctioned spray volume of a pump. CONSTITUTION:When a spraying operation is to be performed during a balasted navigation, a discharge flow rate instruction for a spraying pump 10 corresponding to a total value at 13 of a temperature at gas discharging part is fed to an analogue switch 20 through function generator 14 and analogue memory 15, and a discharging volume of the pump 10 is adjusted via motor 21. In turn, a gas pressure P in the tank is kept at a desired pressure 22 by a controller 24 independent of a spraying operation control. In this way, a flor rate of spraying gas is controlled in response to a temperature of gas contained in the tank, so that a variation of gas pressure in the tank is reduced, a flow rate of LNG gas fed to boiler may be made to be stabled and safe and stable navigation of the tanker may be assured.
