Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a gas supply which is required for maintaining a safe constant pressure within a cell, by providing a gas circuit with a bypath which has another pressure-controlling valve having a lower set pressure than a pressure-controlling valve, which works to maintain the inner pressure of the cell constant. CONSTITUTION:A reaction gas, whose pressure is reduced by means of a pressure- controlling valve 2, is sent into an ejector pump 3. The ejector pump 3 sends a part of the gas which flows from a cell 1, through a circulating path 4 into the inlet side of the cell. A part of the gas which consists of a gas which has not undergone reaction and reaction products and which flows from the cell 1, is introduced into the circulating path 4; the other parts of this gas is exhausted through an exhaustion valve 5 outside of a gas circuit. A bypath circuit 7 including another controlling valve 6 is attached to the gas circuit. The bypath circuit 7 enables a reaction gas to be introduced into the cell 1, without the help of the controlling valve 2 and the ejector pump 3. The set pressure of the second controlling valve 6 is adjusted to be somewhat lower than that of the first controlling valve 2.
