Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform stable atomization despite receiving of external impact by using this atomizer for humidifiers, liquid fuel burners, etc., making the sizes of atomization particles produced by this small, and facilitating the control of the rate of spraying.
CONSTITUTION: While the liquid level of liquid fuel is maintained constant in a cartridge tank 25 and a stationary tank 26, it is filled through an oil feed pipe 27 then through a supply port 9 of an atomizer 24 into a pressurizing chamber 15. At this time, the air in the chamber 15 is forced out through a release port 23 then through a release pipe 28. When alternating electric power is applied to an electrical oscillator 17, the oscillator moves back and forth and generates pressure waves. On account of the shape of its horn, the intensity of the pressure waves is amplified in a nozzle part 18 and the liquid pressurized by these is sprayed through the nozzle. An impact absorber 31 is provided to the atomizer in order to prevent the stoppage of the spraying on account of the breakage of the balance between the surface tension and liquid height in the nozzle by abrupt impact or the like and the entry of air through the nozzle into the pressure chamber.
