Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the sticking of atomized particles to a collision body due to electrostatic atomization and dropping down of liquid, by subjecting a high electric field between the collision body and an atomizing means when colliding a liquid atomized by a high-speed air current, against the collision body.
CONSTITUTION: A liquid supplying pump 9 is driven to supply a liquid to a liquid supplying hole 6 in an air current type atomizer 1 via a liquid feeding pipe 8 and liquid inlet 7, and an air compressor 5 is driven to supply air into the atomizer 1 via air feeding pipe 4 and air sucking inlet 3. Then, the air compressed to high-pressure is jetted from a jetting hole 2 and, at the same time, shears and atomizes the liquid jetted out of the liquid supplying hole 6. The atomized liquid collides against a collision body 10 in front of and near the jetting hole 2 to be further fined, thus obtaining finely atomized particles 13. Between said collision body 10 and the atomizer 1, a high-voltage electric field is formed by a DC high-voltage power source 12.
