Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a liquid atomizing apparatus enhancing atomizing efficiency being constituted so as to impart an injection speed to an atomized particle generated from an atomizing surface by air injected from an air passage arranged in an ultrasonic atomizer to increase an amount of the atomized partcle.
CONSTITUTION: To a space between an electrode plate 4 of an ultrasonic atomizer 1 and a rear part metal body 6, high frequency power is applied from an ultrasonic vibrator 19 and an electrostriction oscillator 4 is displaced to a thickness direction to subject an atomizing surface 3 to ultrasonic vibration at an amplitude of 5W30μ. Next, a liquid 15 is conveyed through a pipe 12 by a liquid pump 14 to be dropped on the atomizing surface 3 as well as atomized to a particle size of 10W100μ by ultrasonic vibration energy. Further, a primary air introduced from a duct A by an air sending fan 11 is discharged to the leading end of the atomizing surface 3 from a primary air passage 10. Moreover, the secondary air introduced from a duct B by the fan 11 is conveyed to an upwardly opened discharge port 17 of an air sending guide cylinder 16 from a passage 18. As the result, micro-pulverization of the liquid at the atomizing surface 3 is further and an amount of an atomized particle is increased so as to enable to paint an article 21 to be painted provided to the upper part under a condition having an injection speed.
