Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a titled nozzle that sprays minute, highly uniform particles by bringing liquid press-sent by an inner cylinder into severe collision with high pressure gas sent from an outer cylinder by pressure at the outer periphery of the tip of a core body to generate ultrasonic energy and thereby atomizing the liquid.

Under this condition, the liquid pump and air compressor are driven to send the pressurized liquid to the head 5 from the tube. The liquid is then passed through the inner cylinder 1 and made to collide with the inner wall of the core body 15 of the tip side, and spouted to outside from a small hole 19 of the body 15. On the other hand, high pressure gas is sent to the tapped hole 14 from the tube and carried by pressure in the outer cylinder 9 along the outer circumference of the inner cylinder 1. Then, it is spouted to outside along an inclined groove 20 formed on the tapered face 16 of the outer periphery of the body 15 in the tip side. That is, in the upper part of the small hole 19 of the body 15, liquid and compressed air are spouted from two directions and intense ultrasonic energy is generated by collision of the two to blow very minute spray.
