Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a flameless combustion by conducting atomized fuel with air to the surface of a catalyzer for burning.
CONSTITUTION: Kerosene 3 is atomized into mist by the vibration of a supersonic vibrator 5, while air is supplied into a tank part 2 from a suction port 4 by an air pump. Then, the kerosene 3 mixed with this air is sprayed and fed to a catalyzer part 6. For the reaction of the catalyzer part 6 at this stage, a tank 9 containing reducing substance, hydrazine hydrate liquid 8, is provided, and the hydrazine hydrote liquid 8 is supplied to the catalyzer part 6 from the top of the discharge pipe of this tank 9 for the catalytic activity under the use of the heat from the chemical reaction of the above-written hydrazine hudrate liquid 8. Thus, a flameless combustion can be obtained by the catalytic reaction on the surface of the catalyzer part 6, and consequently, the apparatus can be used outdoors. After the flameless combustion is once started by the catalyzer part 6 and the fuel, the supply of the hydrazine hydrate liquid 8 can be intercepted.
