Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to dispose positive electrode segments in high density and decrease strain of a radiating pattern of phosphor material, by forming on a surface of a flurality of conductive wiring an oxidizing insulated film made of the same metal as the conductive wiring. CONSTITUTION:On a surface of an insulated substrate made of glass etc. a conductive layer having a thickness of e.g. 1.5-2mum and made of Al metal etc. is formed through sputtering process or the like. Then a photo-regist film is applied on this conductive layer, where a conductive layer composed of both a multi-positive electrode segments and condutive wirings is patterned. And about one-half to one- thirds of thickness of thus obtained conductive layer is converted into an insulated oxidizing film through a conversion means to the oxidizing film and the photoregist film is applied on a substrate where the oxidizing film has been formed and after that, the oxidizing film on the positive segments is removed through the same art of photo-application. Then phosphor material is applied on the segments through an electrophoresis or the like. Thereby, the positive electrode segments may be disposed in high accuracy and density.
