Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an insulated film which is capable of the screen print with excellent characteristics, by producing an insulated film of the TiO2.ZrO2 group oxide by giving the screen print and burning to the paste of a prescribed composition. CONSTITUTION:The paste of a prescribed composition is produced by dissolving a mixture of an organic titanium compound and an organic zirconium compound combined directly with oxygen into an organic solvent with addition of a viscous agent. This paste is screen-printed on a substrate and then burned to obtain a transparent insulated film composed of the TiO2.ZrO2 group oxide. Such film has the high denseness and intensity, good electric insulating performance plus a high effect to prevent the reflection of external light at an electrode, and can suitably be used to a liquid crystal orientation film, etc. of a TN-type liquid crystal display device.
