CONSTITUTION: In the electronic watch illuminaton providing EL illumination body (also used for the reflection plate) 2 under the liquid crystal display body 1, the trnasparent electrode 2d such as InO is provided to the polyester base 2b, and the clear lacquer 2g scattering barium titanate powder is printed on base 2b to form the derivative layer 2g. Next, green color EL layer 2e and red color EL layer 2f are printed. Further, the polyester substrate 2a added with the transparent electrode 2c of InO is provided on the light emitting layers 2e, 2f. AC is applied to the electrodes 2c, 2d to cause the part A of the liquid crystal panel in green color for time display and in red color for the part B as weekday display, allowing multicolor illumination rich in the variety.
